2021 Ford Bronco Specs

Performance

The 2021 Ford Bronco has different engine options. You can have the 2.7-liter EcoBoost six-cylinder engine with 4×4, which gives a horsepower of 310 and a 400 pound-feet o torque. Alternatively, you can have a 2.3-liter EcoBoost four-cylinder engine offering 270 horsepower and a torque of 310 pound-feet. The 2.3-liter engine has a seven-speed manual transmission while the 2.7-liter engine has a 10-speed automatic transmission.

Technology

Ford features great technology in the 2021 Bronco. It has a Terrain Management System to allow you to adjust modes to match the driving environment. You can take advantage of trail control for easier navigation over rough terrain, and trail turn assist for reduced turning radius in low-speed off-road environments. There's even trail 1-pedal drive for low-speed crawling, and FordPass performance App with off-road navigation in Macomb.

Features

The 2021 Ford Bronco has removable doors to give you an open-air experience. It also features a removable roof. It also has best-in-class departure and breakover, ground clearance, and water fording to allow navigation over different terrains. Other features of note include the Bronco cockpit, rubberized washable floors, and off-road hero switch pack.

It has the option of 16, 17 or 18-inch wheels. It also features a terrain management system as well as HID headlamps.

2021 Ford Bronco Trim Levels

Base

The Base trim comes with basic standard Bronco features. It thus allows for greater customization. Some of its key features include cruise control, seven-speed manual transmission, five GOAT modes and SYNC 4 with an eight-inch LCD compact touchscreen. It has 30-inch all-terrain tires on 16-inch steel wheels.

Big Bend

The Big Bend trim offers comfort features such as heated seats, remote start, leather-wrapped steering wheel, and power inverter. Other key features include privacy glass and swing gate, seven GOAT modes, interior grab handles, and a carbonized gray-painted grille. It runs on 32-inch all-terrain tires and 17-inch aluminum wheels.

Black Diamond

The Black Diamond is designed to be tough. It has rock rails, steel front and rear bumpers, and heavy-duty skid plates. It has seven GOAT modes for navigation on different trails around Macomb. The car rides on 32-inch all-terrain tires and 17-inch steel wheels. It has a black molded-in-color grille, rear locking differential, auxiliary switches with pre-run accessory wires and molle strap system.

Outer Banks

The Outer Banks trim features a modular painted hardtop, blind-spot information system with cross-traffic alert, 10-speed automatic transmission, and tube step running boards. It runs on 32-inch all-terrain tires and 18-inch wheels. It also has an optional 12-inch LCD touchscreen as well as a B&O sound system.

Badlands

The Badlands trim has Blistein position-sensitive monotube shocks. It also comes with 33-inch all-weather tires on 17-inch wheels. Other key features include upgraded bash plates and rock rails, seven GOAT modes, auxiliary switches with pre-run accessory wires in the overhead console, and Marine-grade vinyl seats.

Wildtrack

The Wildtrak has 17-inch wheels and a 2.7-liter twin-turbocharged V6 engine. It has a 10-speed automatic transmission. Some of its key features include high-clearance suspension, advanced 4×4 with automatic on-demand engagement, hood graphic, front and rear locking differentials, modular painted hardtop, and auxiliary switches with pre-run accessory wires.

First Edition

The First Edition combines the key parts of all the other series. It has the mechanicals of the Badlands, the exterior of a Wildtrak and the interior of an Outer Banks. Some key features include a 360-degree camera, device charging ports, adaptive cruise control, roof rails with crossbars, additional sound deadening, and advanced 4×4 with automatic on-demand engagement.

Bronco Sport production and initial deliveries are scheduled to begin late 2020. Bronco is scheduled to begin spring 2021.

Online Reservation FAQs

What is a reservation?

A reservation lets you select your vehicle and be among the first to order a new Bronco or Bronco Sport from Ford with a refundable reservation deposit. It is not an actual order and does not guarantee delivery.

What steps are required to complete my reservation?

Go online and select your preferred configuration, create a Ford Account, select your preferred dealer and enter your credit/debit card details and address. A confirmation receipt will be sent to the email address you provide.*

What is a Ford Account and why do I need one?

A Ford Account lets you sign into the Ford website to save and manage your personal and reservation information. You need to create a Ford Account to reserve your Bronco or Bronco Sport. Reservations can also be tracked in your Ford Account at owner.ford.com/.*

Can I select any Ford Dealer?

Only Ford Dealers who are eligible and have activated online reservations can be selected. The eligible dealers will be provided based on your ZIP code, or you can enter the name of your favorite Ford Dealer and will be matched to them.

Can I make changes to my reservation?

You will be able to make changes and complete your vehicle selection at the time you place your order.*

Can I cancel my reservation?

Yes. You can cancel your reservation at any time and receive a full refund.* You can do this in your account at ford.com. If for some reason you can't process the cancellation online, you can contact a Ford Customer Experience Representative at 800-392-3673 (Ford U.S.). After canceling, allow seven to 10 business days for the reservation deposit to be credited to your original form of payment. Once you progress from a reservation to an order with a dealer, however, cancellation requests would be at that dealer's discretion.

When can I order my vehicle?

You will be notified prior to when the Bronco or Bronco Sport ordering windows open to finalize and confirm your selection and agree on pricing with your dealer.

What happens to the reservation deposit once I order?

The reservation deposit will be handled by your dealer along with the other details of your vehicle purchase.* When will I take delivery of my vehicle?

You will be able to order your Bronco in late 2020. Production and deliveries will begin spring 2021. Bronco Sport will be available to order in summer 2020. Production and deliveries will begin late 2020. Once actual delivery times may vary based on vehicle model and configuration selected, residency and demand. Once your vehicle is scheduled, you will receive further notification.

Am I buying this vehicle directly from Ford?

No. The purchase agreement will be between you and the dealer, not you and Ford.

How many reservations can I make and can I transfer my reservation?

Up to two reservations per account. Your reservation number is assigned to you and cannot be transferred.*

Will you share my reservation information with my dealer?

Your reservation information will be shared with the dealer you select at the time of reservation. Please see our privacy policy at ford.com/help/privacy for additional information.*
