What's new for the Ford F-150 in 2023?
To help fuel the off-road boom even more, Ford is introducing a formidable off-road trim called the Rattler. The new Ford F-150 Rattler will be sporting 18-inch wheels, hill-descent control, off-road suspension, a locking rear differential and a dual-exhaust system. Performance
The new Ford F-150 offers a menu of engines and powertrains that even ambitious competitors find hard to match. It starts with the 3.3-liter V6 that produces 290 horsepower. A 2.7-liter V6 is twin-turbocharged and can generate 325 horsepower. A 5.0-liter V8 gives you 400 horsepower or you can get that same number in the twin-turbo 3.5-liter V6. With the 3.0-liter diesel V6, you'll get 250 horsepower and the fuel efficiency of a diesel.
Towing & Payload
The base level 3.3-liter V6 has a very credible towing capacity of 8,200 pounds. With the 3.5-liter twin-turbo V6, the 400 horsepower allows you to tow as much as 14,000 pounds. The trustworthy 5.0-liter V8 is not far behind at a max of 13,000 pounds and the diesel V6 can tow 12,100 pounds. The 5.0-liter V8 has the biggest payload capacity at 3,270 pounds.
Interior Features
One of the things that makes the new Ford F-150 a resourceful work partner is the mobile workspace capability.
